The Bank invites interested and qualified applicants to fill the following vacant positions.

Job Title: Branch Manager  – Grade – 1

Job Summary: The Manager plans and coordinates the overall activities of the branch, and follows-up and evaluates Branch’s operations/targets on established performance parameters. He/she motivates and coaches the customer service officers responsible for the delivery of high quality service. He/she identifies and recruits potential customers and provides professional advice and others.

Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Management/ Economics/ Accounting & Finance/ Marketing/ Banking & Finance/ Business Administration or other business related field of study with 6(Six) years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 2(two) year in supervisory position.

Place of Work: Hajialiyu IFB /Worabe Branch

Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Job Summary: Chief Security Officer is responsible to supervise and coordinates the security operations and activities in the Bank found in Addis Ababa and outside of the city. The job holder ensures that the security force of the bank is performing well. Studies, proposes and introduces improved methods of security system/techniques/ in the bank. Follow up outsourced security guards. Coordinates patrol and monitors security activities of the bank at all levels.

Required Education and Experience: BA in Police Science from police college with a minimum of 5(Five) years’ work experience security/military activities.

Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor – Grade – 1

Job Summary: The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible to countersigns on tickets/vouchers and authorizes transactions. To follow up all cheque clearance activities and accounts of suspense nature. To ensure and follow up reconciliation of accounts and other related tasks.

Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Economics/ Accounting/ Management/ Business Administration/ Finance and Accounting or business related field of study with a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in banking operations.

Job Title: Human Capital Development Officer

Job Summary: Human Capital Development Officer is responsible to identify training and development needs within the company through job analysis and appraisal schemes. Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the department and the individual. Identify and select relevant training institutions. Develop and support effective induction program for new staff, apprentices and graduate trainees. Supervise ongoing training programs. Evaluate training and development programs

Required Education and Experience: Minimum BA Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or Management or Public administration with a minimum of 3(three) years related work experience in human resource management.

Job Title: Store Keeper – I

Job Summary: He/she is responsible to maintain proper inventory list of all fixed assets of the bank, to receive and to store materials and supplies against a copy of Bank’s purchase order and Delivery invoice of the supplier, to issue materials from stock per requisition, and to hand over stock to receiving organs or employees of the bank. He/she maintains an inventory record for each of the item under his or her control and updates records of all receipts and withdrawals;

Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Procurement and supplies Management/Supplies Management/Management/Accounting, or business related field of study with a minimum of 2(two) years in property management related work experience.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for registering and filing Letters, minutes, circulars, memoranda and other materials. Screens visitors, schedules appointments and arranges telephone contacts to and from supervisor. Keeps custody of correspondent files, other confidential materials and petty cash, opens, sorts and routes incoming mail.

Required Education and Experience: BA/Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management/ Administrative Service Management with 2/4 (two/four) years related work experience.

Place of Work: Head Office and Hawassa District

  • Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale.
